Two New Orleans traditions: Acme Oyster House …

… and Café du Monde

I headed to New Orleans to attend the CASE Editors Forum, an opportunity to meet future potential clients for my business. Ironically, I had been planning — for quite a long time — a trip to the Crescent City with my sons. It’s a place everyone should experience at least once in their lives. This would be my fifth time there.

My plans to attend this event happened rather suddenly, which didn’t give my wingmen much time to make their own plans. Unfortunately, my older son, Ben, was unable to make the trip due to work conflicts. However, my younger son, Jack, was quick to confirm that he’d be stoked to come along.

Needless to say, we had a great time. The weather could not have been more perfect. New Orleans climate can be debilitating if you’re there at the wrong time of the year, but the late winter/early spring timing of this visit ended up smiling on us: no humidity, temps in the low 70s.
